Three university athletics teams will test themselves against Hong Kong's top corporate 10km runners in the adidas King of the Road 2003 race on March 2.

A new feature of the annual event, in it's 22nd year, is an invitation relay where four team members each run 2.5km. Ten university teams contested the adidas King of the Road 2003 Tertiary Institution Competition, a qualifying event held at Stanley Ho Sports Centre on Sunday.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (in a time of 33 minutes, 54 seconds), the Institute of Vocational Education (33 min, 10 sec), and the Hong Kong Institute of Education (32 min, 29 sec) qualified for the invitation relay to be held at Hong Kong International Airport.
