There has been a lot of debate on the issue of televisions on buses.

I am not a commuter on Hong Kong's public buses, but I do occasionally take a trip on one and I enjoy the videos that are shown.

I try to sit closer to the screens so that I can hear the commentary.

The correspondents who write to these columns regularly complaining about the TV videos probably represent a small group. I find their letters very annoying, especially when these columns should be left clear for more important topics.

If they don't like the broadcasts, they should sit at the back of the buses and wear earplugs.
