KIND ACT SHOWS THAT GOOD PEOPLE STILL EXIST

When the world is full of talk of evil, it is precious moments of kindness like the one I experienced on the evening of January 18, that help us recognise there is goodness in the world.

While walking along the waterfront near the Cultural Centre, in Tsim Sha Tsui, I was distracted by the sight of the Chinese New Year decorations in preparation for the festivities and I tripped over a low brick wall, which caused me to fall.

In a state of shock and with the effect of the injury already evident, I very much appreciated the concern expressed by a very kind Chinese man who came to my assistance.

He helped me get a taxi and directed the driver to take me to hospital.
