Third spot for Isherwood
HONG KONG Sports Institute scholarship athlete Kim Isherwood finished third in a triathlon race in California yesterday.
The event, consisting of a 900-yard ocean swim, a hilly 15-mile bicycle ride and 4.5-mile beach run, was won by American Terry Schneider, ranked second in the world, in one hour, 35 minutes and 31 seconds. Lori Robertson, also of the US, was second in 1:36.51 and Isherwood third in 1:37.14.
Isherwood is using the event as training for the longer Ironman triathlon distance.
