SIEMENS TARGETS 10pc OF HANDSETS

Siemens, the world's No 4 mobile phone maker, aims to gain 10 per cent of the mainland China market for handsets. Rudi Lamprechit, head of Siemens' mobile unit, was quoted by Bloomberg as saying: 'We don't put ourselves under market-share pressure, but 10 is the magic number for us.' Munich-based Siemens makes and sells handsets in China, the world's largest cell-phone market.
