Aluminum Corp of China - the world's third-largest alumina producer - posted a net profit of 1.4 billion yuan (about HK$1.31 billion) for last year, an 11.7 per cent fall from the pro forma net profit of 1.58 billion yuan in 2001. Turnover rose 5 per cent to 16.79 billion yuan. A final dividend of 4.5 fen was recommended.
