Run away to the circus

EASTER SHOULD BE colourful and full of fun, so put on your masks and head for a parade!

Running from noon to 6.30pm every day throughout the public holiday, the Easter Parade and Circus Workshops at Citigate in Tung Chung are going to pump up everyone's energy levels.

First comes Linda Severt. The clown full of musical talent will be playing original songs on a variety of instruments.

Severt is able to weave many of her delightful routines together as she fuses puppetry, song, drama and clowning - she can juggle pins while walking on a barrel with a monster inside. And don't miss her music workshop which features instruments made out of junk.

The Balloon Master Duo do more than blowing balloons. Philip LeConte and Colin Franks will wow the audience with fantastic original balloon shows such as the 'Lords of Latex', comedy, yo-yo and juggling.

Those favouring an adrenalin rush will find the Crazy Tramps more exciting.

Ross Smith and Matt Windsor are trampoline acrobats who will tumble and twist for your amusement. On top of the stunts, however, they also perform uni-cycling, magic and comedies.

Last but not least is a world-class act by Circus Zapparelli, headed by Danny Zapparelli, the only actor in the world who can combine juggling with a display of fireworks on a three-metre unicycle.
