TO BE HONEST I've never been a big fan of the kind of guitar-driven sounds produced by British rockers Reef, but as one of the most prominent bands from the Britpop era, they have a huge following. Dedicated fans will have bought all their albums - Replenish (1995), Glow (1997) and 2000's Getaway as well as numerous singles.

If you are one of them, perhaps you will consider buying Together, The Best Of ... Reef, a greatest-hits compilation released to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

This is a must-have for your Reef collection, regardless of this album's quality. Apart from the nine top 30 singles you might already have, there are five new tracks as well.

To someone who's not a die-hard follower of the band, however, Together will not be a worthwhile purchase.

Although the five new songs, including the heavy-sounding single Give Me Your Love, are nice to listen to, their quality is still far from those released at their peak, songs like Place Your Hands. Perhaps it is better value to buy their past releases.

Together, The Best Of ... Reef is out now on Sony.
