Marco Fu Ka-chun, Hong Kong's sole professional on the world snooker circuit, will be up against world number two Ronnie O'Sullivan in the first round of the Embassy World Championship in Sheffield, England this morning. Fu, who is ranked 25 and had to qualify into the 32-strong main draw, was unlucky to be drawn against England's O'Sullivan in the best-of-19 frames first-round match at the world-famous Crucible Theatre after defeating England's Jonathan Bird 10-8 in the final qualifying round. The 25-year-old Fu has been struggling with his form for the past 12 months.
