INTERIOR DESIGNER Grover Dear and Michael Mims celebrated a joint birthday party at The Cafe at the Ritz-Carlton hotel with friends and family. The location was all too familiar to Dear - the elegant eatery is one of many places he has designed. Guests included celebrity designer Simon Jackson, model Annie Defries, Marguerite Lee, Mara Hotung, stylist Louise Kou and hairstylist Justin Paul Chambers - all of whom got into the 'Black Tie And Diamonds' theme.

After dinner, rib-tickling toasts to the birthday boys and some hearty rounds of drinks, the never-say-die bunch hit the club scene in a cavalcade of limousines waiting for guests who wanted to party on at Kee Club. How's that for style?
