Treks In A Wild World: Trekking In Egypt
World, 8pm
One of the most mysterious and popular travel destinations, Egypt is one of those places that inspires travellers. Presenter Estelle Bingham (above) starts her journey at the Pyramids of Giza, the most recognisable symbol of Egypt. She heads inside the pyramids, to discover more about how these wonders of the world have stood tall throughout three millennia. Leaving the bustle of Cairo behind, Bingham heads out into the Western Desert for a trek to find lost tombs and to attend the yearly friendship festival in the desert oasis of Siwa. Finally, it's on to Baharriya and the Valley of the Mummies with Egypt's premier archaeologist, Dr Zawi Hawass, to see the largest discovery of mummies in the 20th century.

This classic romantic comedy gave Audrey Hepburn her first break and an Oscar into the bargain. Princess Ann (Hepburn), the beautiful heir-apparent to a mythical throne, is on an official visit to Rome when she has a yearning for everyday life and slips away incognito. She is befriended by an American reporter Joe Bradley (Gregory Peck, above with Hepburn) who starts out looking for a story and ends up falling in love with her. Wild: Cape Followers
National Geographic, 7.30pm
Long ago, huge herds of elephants roamed Africa's Cape region. Over the centuries they have been persecute by settlers, ivory hunters and farmers, except in one small area called Addo Elephant National Park. Only 13km across and covered in thick, thorny bushveld scrub, the land was never suited to agriculture and hence was left to the animals. Now elephants are thriving there - and at their feet, some other very unlikely creatures have not only survived along with the giant mammals, but are now teaching the scientists a thing or two.
