Down to business

Following the success of a one-year

pre-university course launched last year,

Warwick University and the British Council

once again offer a locally based business

studies programme, with classes beginning

in September.

Launched in 2002, the Higher Education

Foundation Programme (Hefp) offers a

broad-based curriculum to prepare students

in various academic disciplines for

acceptance into degree courses at British

universities. Running through June, the

course will be taught in English by staff

approved by Warwick University at British

Council premises.

All students who completed the programme

this year received numerous offers from

leading British universities, with 80 per cent

gaining conditional offers from Warwick

itself. Applicants should have good HKCEE

results and have completed their A-Levels

(or equivalent). They should also have an

internationally recognised English

qualification.
