Mainland scavenger drowns in Tsuen Wan


A suspected mainland scavenger drowned after she fell from the waterfront in Tsuen Wan while collecting abandoned goods. The two-way permit holder, 33, apparently lost her balance and fell just after 5.30am, while scavenging on a construction site at the Hoi On Road waterfront. Police said an initial investigation showed there were no suspicious circumstances.


Molotov cocktail sends Mercedes up in flames


An unattended Mercedes-Benz was torched in Mongkok. Beat police discovered the flaming vehicle in Shanghai Street just after 5am and called firefighters. Police said a piece of concrete was used to break the rear passenger seat window before a molotov cocktail was hurled into the cabin.
