Hang Seng Bank has launched the Hang Seng China H-share Index Fund, which tracks the performance of the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index. Minimum investment is HK$20,000 or HK$1,000 a month via a regular investment plan. The fund will mirror the index, which represents 89 per cent of the total market capitalisation of Hong Kong-listed H shares. The index has risen about 50 per cent this year.

HSBC's offshore banking unit HSBC Bank International is offering a new HSBC Capital Guaranteed Healthcare Fund, giving exposure to the world's 12 largest pharmaceutical and health-care stocks. The fund offers a 100 per cent guarantee and cash dividends totalling 5.75 per cent over the four-year and nine-month investment term. Added bonuses will be based on performance.
