Hong Kong's Real Madrid supporters club president, regional representative for Banco Atlantico here, hosted a cocktail party for officials from the Spanish champions delegation at Spanish restaurant Ole on Wednesday evening. Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez and his wife attended.

How was the party?

It was a great atmosphere - they are very nice people. We only expected them to stay for an hour and a half, but they were there four hours. Eighty people were there.

Did Mr Perez reveal who his next superstar target is?

He didn't mention that, but he did say that Asia is very important to them, and they have some big plans. He said Hong Kong had made a great impression on him. When I met him in Tokyo last year he wasn't convinced it was worth bringing the team. But he told me this week that it was all true - he said Hong Kong was the most exciting city in the world. He is a brilliant guy - a lovely person and very interesting to speak to.

Sounds like they enjoyed their visit despite the criticism?

I think the SCMP was too critical of them. During their visit I've seen fans adoring them and cheering passionately. The players loved that reaction and felt very comfortable going out socially in Hong Kong. They could do that here and they really enjoyed it. They didn't feel like that in mainland China, and Japan.

Will they come back?

Actually, I can tell you that they loved Hong Kong and I'm certain they will come back. They felt very at home and relaxed and extremely at ease. They wanted to create a positive image here, and they were concerned by the ticket issues and other things.

What's in your pockets right now?

My wallet which has business cards, some ID, and family pictures. I have some office and home keys.

Where is paradise for you?

Anywhere relaxing with good weather, and with my family.

Sushi or burger?

Sushi - I love Japanese food.

What is Real Madrid's greatest ever performance?

I've read that it is the European Cup final in Glasgow in 1960 when they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3. I've never seen it. But I did enjoy watching the two European Champions League matches against Manchester United last season. They were very good.
