LG G7030: The latest GSM phone from Korea's LG Electronics is one of the world's first devices to use 256-colour Organic EL (electro luminance) technology. Organic EL displays save power and are always bright but do not have the richness of regular TFT displays. Content on Organic EL displays also need to be moving all the time because static content burns the display. The dual-band G7030 also comes with a 65K colour display. (Price: $2,800)

Shuttle xpc SB61G2: This small form factor PC from Shuttle uses a customised motherboard inside a special chassis. The SB61G2 features an Intel 865G chipset that supports Pentium 4 processors and dual channel 400 MHz DDR memory, as well as an 8x AGP interface. The SB61G2 is typically sold by PC assembling shops with all the necessary components. (Price: depending on configuration, between $4,500-$6,500 for a full system without monitor)

HEWLETT-PACKARD DESKJET 450CI: Marketed as a mobile printer, the Deskjet 450ci is smaller than most printers but still prints A4 pages. The best thing about the 450ci is the built-in infrared port, which means you can now beam your document or photos to it directly from your phone or PDA. The 450ci also connects to a PC via USB 2.0 or parallel port. Print quality goes up to 4800 x 1200 in the optimised mode on HP photo paper, or 1200 x 1200 in standard mode. (Price: $2,499)
