Strong courts

Retiring judge Conrad Seagroatt said this week that Hong Kong should prize the independence of the judiciary, uphold the rule of law and keep the courts 'strong'. He said the government seemed to regard the judiciary as just another part of the civil service. What do you think? Write to us.
