You may not see the world as a safer place because of the US going after terrorists, but it sure beats sitting back and letting them do what they want ('Peace would be a fitting legacy of September 11', September 11).

Those of us in America want these people dealt with, and slapping them on the hand, or doing nothing, is what seems to get Europe and the rest of the world in trouble.

The terrorists are jealous of what the US has and they want us to conform to their ways. We will not do it, ever.
