Mary Wilson, formerly of the Supremes, made a grand appearance at the FCC ball on Saturday, dressed in white like a bride.
But she proved she was no prima donna when she climbed on board a junk with 40 people, mainly FCC members, corporate sponsors and friends to dine at one of Lamma's famous outdoor seafood restaurants.
In a bright orange outfit, she climbed the steel stairs, sat in the plastic bucket seats and chit-chatted to everyone graciously.
'I am happy to be in Hong Kong and do my part for the kids at Po Leung Kok,' she said.
When asked what she thought of Diana Ross getting arrested for drink-driving, she replied, 'I have nothing to say about that. All I know is I am the one still supporting the Supremes. I have no idea what she is doing.' Go girl!
Needless to say, the FCC performance was a huge success.
