Mercury S-330: Despite its diminished size, the S-330 still offers a nice line up of features, including 2 x2 Mega-pixel imaging, flash, a 4cm TFT display and 16 MBs of built-in memory. The S-330 runs on two triple A batteries and the memory can be extended using the SD/MMC card slot. The S-330 also comes with a 4x digital zoom. The image quality of the S-330 is not bad, although usage of the flash dramatically limits its battery life. (Price: $880)

Sony PEG-TJ25/H, PEG-TJ35/H: Sony's new TJ25/H and the TJ35/H will be targeted at entry-level users but still feature impressive 65,000-colour screens and 200 MHz processors running the latest Palm OS (version 5.2). Sony has also added new handwriting recognition software called Decuma Input in addition to Palm's Graffiti 2 input system. Both new Clies come with the Picsel Viewer for viewing documents and websites, and can play back MP3s. (Price: $1,780)

Canon PowerShot A80: The new PowerShot from Canon is among the first batch of digital cameras to support the new PictBridge industry standard, which lets you print directly to any PictBridge-enabled printers without a computer. The A80 also offers 4x Mega-pixel imaging, a 3x optical zoom lens and an LCD display that flips open and can rotate 270 degrees. It comes with plenty of features and Canon's proprietary Digicimage processor for performance. (Price: $3,280)
