Toddler is found in car park
Police are looking for the parents of a girl who was found next to a rubbish bin in a Sai Kung car park last night.
The girl, who police estimate to be about two-years-old, was found in an open-space car park on Tai Mong Tsai Road near Wong Chuk Wan.
She was discovered by a taxi driver who drove into the car park about 10pm.
Officers immediately mounted a search in the car park and nearby areas but were unable to locate her parents.
She was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital, and officers were told by doctors that the girl was in good condition.
A police spokesman said the girl was wearing an adult-sized black short-sleeve T-shirt and was wrapped with a purple-white towel when she was found.
The girl has short hair, is about a metre tall with big eyes and a thin build.
Police said anyone who has information on the identity of the girl or the whereabouts of her parents should contact Sai Kung police at 2792 1279.
