Now this is a real Rolling Stones fan.
The anonymous African aficionado, who flew in from Senegal for both shows, has somehow managed to befriend the band over the years. He has been spotted at most of the Stones' private functions in Hong Kong.
He tells CitySeen that he has seen almost 20 Stones concerts since 1978.
So why bother with Hong Kong? 'This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the first time they are playing in China,' he says in his thick French accent. 'I follow them around the world - I have been to South Africa, Australia, Europe, Canada, all the gigs in the US - but this one is special.'
This addiction may cost a fortune to maintain, but he says earnestly: 'The money I spend following them around the world is an investment. Who knows how much longer they will play for? You have to treat every concert as if it is their last.'
