Auspicious Odyssey won a turf trial in good style recently and has shown enough potential to win in this grade. Nicku Nicku was given a quiet trial but generally his preparation has been solid and he must be kept safe. Top Health has not been pressured in his turf trials but has ability and has each-way claims. Kimbo Kid shaped well in a turf trial and looks good enough to figure.

RACE THREE, RATED 55-35 (C4) 1,000 METRES (TURF)

First Among Equals was highly impressive in a recent trial down the straight course and would rate a leading chance. Island Spirit displayed marked improvement in the second of two turf trials and has claims. Wyndam Power has progressed in his work and condition and worked solidly over 800 metres in 48.7 in a dirt gallop. King Of Garoupa has displayed more zest with the blinkers in his work and similar improvement is expected under race conditions.

RACE FOUR, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,650 METRES (DIRT)

New Century has picked up the quality of work since his last run and looked in good order in his final 800 metres gallop, clocked in 54.5. Everest worked particularly well in his final 1,200 metres gallop (1:18.7) and improvement is expected. Modern Prospect went well in a trial and looks fitter now. Elite Win looks in outstanding condition and is expected to run boldly.

RACE FIVE, RATED 70-50 (C3), 1,200 METRES (TURF)

Trust Me worked extremely well over 800 metres in 56.1 with stablemate Porter Ricks - he's fit and well. Strong Sun is back to his best, judging on his 800 metres gallop (50.6) under jockey Anton Marcus. San Lorenzo looks fit and well and worked steadily over 800 metres in his final work. Salentino continues to impress in his work and his final couple of gallops have been sound.

RACE SIX, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,600 METRES (TURF)

Magical Warrior is fitter for his last outing and looked on good terms in his final 400 metres breeze, clocked at 25.2. Good Heart was most impressive in his final 800 metres turf gallop and has picked up slightly from his last outing. Lucky Sixer went very well in a recent dirt trial and may have even improved since his last win. Dongguan Excels is holding his condition exceptionally well and his final 800 metres grass gallop was sterling work. Smart Chief looked in good order on his final couple of gallops and is fitter now.

RACE SEVEN, RATED 90-65 (C2), 1,200 METRES (DIRT)

Key To Success worked brilliantly in his final 800 metres dirt gallop when clocking 52.2. He won a dirt trial recently and remains in tip-top shape. Good Trio was never pressured in a dirt trial but moved ominously well and clearly has ability. Speed Lord is in peak condition and won a dirt trial recently in good fashion. Little Elephant fared well in a steadily-run dirt trial but looks as though his fitness will improve. Honour Supreme looks fitter and his final 800m was steady.

RACE EIGHT, RATED 90-70 (C2) , 2,000 METRES

Pacific Alliance has picked up the quality of work significantly in his final couple of gallops and looks primed to run well. Xlerate looks even fitter for his last run and his final 1,200 metres gallop was faultless. Good Fit shaped nicely in a recent trial and is open to improvement. Olympic Gold worked strongly in his final 800 metres gallop (53) and a better run is expected.
