Woman treated for head injuries after mugging

A 41-year-old woman was hit on the head and back by a robber in Tsuen Wan. Police said the robber had come up behind her in Castle Peak Road and tried to snatch a handbag and necklace. The man fled when a male passer-by, 18, shouted for help. The woman was treated for head injuries at Yan Chai Hospital and discharged.
