Upcoming Chinese pianist Lang Lang has just achieved one of the most prestigious accomplishments for any musician - a concert at Carnegie Hall.

Described as a 'superstar Chinese pianist' in the US, Lang's skills have attracted huge media attention.

Many were enthusiastic about the concert. But not everyone was impressed. Afterwards, the New York Times wrote: 'Not every musician has to be an intellectually searching artist, but Lang's head seems to be so full of his own hype that there can't be much room left for analytical thinking.'
