The mischievous Monkey King from the Chinese classic Journey To The West helps launch a special set of stamps yesterday to commemorate the approaching Year of the Monkey. Calligraphy demonstrations were also conducted during the event at the General Post Office in Central, while spring couplet posters and chocolates were distributed.

Postmaster-General Allan Chiang Yam-wang said that as the volume of letters and packages had increased recently amid the economic rebound, the post office should be able to balance its accounts this financial year.
