DANIEL Wildenstein, the millionaire art dealer, has joined a long list of owners and trainers seeking the services of globe-trotting Mick Kinane, who clocked the fastest century of winners ever in Ireland at Leopardstown on Saturday.

Wildenstein, who has hired and fired the best jockeys in the business, including Lester Piggott and Walter Swinburn - not to mention trainers such as Patrick Biancone - wants Kinane to ride Sussex Stakes winner Bigstone in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes atAscot on September 25.

''I want a jockey who knows Ascot well, and Kinane is the man for that job,'' Wildenstein said during Sunday's Arc trials at Longchamp.

If all goes well at Ascot, Wildenstein also hopes Kinane will be available to ride Bigstone in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Santa Anita, Los Angeles, on November 6, a race in which he was most unlucky on Dermot Weld's Brief Truce last year.
