The mother deserves our respect for her diligence. From her, we learn that time management is very important. Otherwise, she could not do well in the office, at school and at home.

Yee-lin deserves a compliment, too. Her article is neat, with a lot of supporting arguments.

To write a feature or profile, a reporter must make it interesting. Reporters themselves can be a good judge. If they are bored, they cannot expect the readers to enjoy the article very much.

To practise, try to tell your story to a friend and read their responses. Keep sentences short. Fit in quotations in the right places.

To end the story, one may either use a punchy quote or refer back to the image used in 'the lead' or the opening paragraph.

Last but not least, use a spell-checker and proof-read the article before sending it on to your editor.
