Wolves face hungry United

European football action live on television this weekend includes Manchester United's visit to bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League.

The 8.30pm kick-off, live on ESPN tomorrow, will be a chance for United to get back to winning ways after being held 0-0 at home by Newcastle United last week.

The Red Devils could be without Ryan Giggs after the gifted Welsh winger picked up a back injury during the Newcastle game.

That could mean an opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo or Quinton Fortune to show what they can do on the flanks. United rarely fail to score and it could be a painful day for Wolves fans.

At 11pm on ESPN, Liverpool will hope to continue their good run when they meet Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart lane.

Liverpool are in fifth place in the league after beating Chelsea and Aston Villa, both 1-0 victories, in their past two games.

The Merseysiders need to maintain their good form right up until May if they are to book a precious top-four finish and a Champions League place next season.

David Pleat's Spurs are still in the lower half of the table but, like their opponents tomorrow, have won their past two matches, a 4-1 drubbing of Birmingham City and a 1-0 win at Leeds United.

The other live game tomorrow is Everton versus Charlton (STAR, 11pm).

On Sunday, Aston Villa against Arsenal is on ESPN at 10pm, while Chelsea's match with Birmingham is on ESPN at midnight.

On Cable Channel 62, the live Italian Serie A match tomorrow night is Udinese versus Parma (3am). On Sunday, Juventus take on Siena (9.30pm), and Brescia play AC Milan (3am).

Live Spanish league football on Channel 61 tomorrow night includes Real Valladolid against Valencia (2am), and Barcelona versus Athletic Bilbao (4.30am). On Sunday, Deportivo La Coruna play Real Zaragoza (11.30pm), Athletico Madrid meet Sevilla (2am), and Real Betis host Real Madrid (4am).
