TRACKWORK

RACE ONE, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,200 METRES

Zero In has worked exceptionally well in a series of gallops since his last outing and looks primed to run well. Trophy won a recent trial on the turf (January 6) and has picked up the quality of his work since his last outing. There was more zest shown by Enamelled with the blinkers applied in a turf trial on January 6 and a better run can be expected. Dynamic Power has had a solid preparation and shown enough potential in his work and trials to warrant respect. Natural Model will benefit from the experience. Rainbow Diamond has plenty to learn and there is ample improvement to come.

RACE TWO, RATED 40-15 (C5), 1,400 METRES

Lighting The World worked in a sound manner in his only gallop since his last outing and looks fit and well. Millennium Supreme worked a shade better in a recent 800 metres gallop, timed in 48.5 seconds. Energetic Prince worked quite well on the turf in an 800 metres gallop and can improve. Supersonic appears to have strengthened up a fraction and his final couple of gallops were better.

RACE THREE, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,800 METRES

Cheerful Heart has indicated his well-being in a series of gallops and looks to be holding his condition well. China Cat worked superbly over 800 metres (48.7) and a better performance is expected. Speed Of Light won a turf trial on January 6 and looks fit and well. Fabulous worked strongly over 1,200 metres (1:19.6) and looks in magnificent condition. Barracuda looks fit and well.

RACE FOUR, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,400 METRES

Touch Of Class has been working well for the past month and appears to be holding his condition. Happy Kid worked home strongly in a turf trial on January 6 and a better performance is expected. Mystic Spirits worked well over 800 metres (51.4) and looks primed to run a top race. Telecom Tycoon was given a steady gallop on the turf in his final gallop and looks fit enough.

RACE FIVE, RATED 90-70 (C2), 1,600 METRES

Nilometer worked exceptionally well over 800 metres (47.8) in his final piece of hard work and indicated he had improved. Wealthy Treasure worked in a solid fashion over 800 metres (54.7) with John Size aboard in his final gallop. He looks in excellent order. Inverness looks in his best shape so far this preparation and his last couple of gallops have impressed. Sunny Riviera is ticking over nicely in light work but remains in great shape.

RACE SIX, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,000 METRES

Keep On Easy has been working very well in a series of gallops and looks in tip-top shape. Country Music is oozing class in his general work and remains on song. Champion Winner looks fitter for his last outing (January 4) and is set to run well. My Fortune worked home well under little pressure in a trial on January 6 and looks fit enough. Lucky Trio displayed his usual zest in his final 400 metres breeze-up (23.9) and looks in good order.

RACE SEVEN, GROUP 1, 1,600 METRES

Bowman's Crossing worked particularly well under Douglas Whyte in a 1,200-metre turf gallop on Tuesday and looks in superb condition. Hidden Dragon continues to work in a brilliant manner and his final 800 metres was excellent. Splendid Patrol moved stylishly in a recent trial and looks fit and well. Self Flit worked in good time (47.6) in his final turf gallop and remains in great shape. Dr More won a trial recently in commanding fashion and has continued to work very impressively.

RACE EIGHT, RATED 90-70 (C2), 1,800 METRES

Sure Fit remains in outstanding order and his recent turf gallop timed in 48.2 seconds was sterling work. Top Prize has had only one gallop since his last run (January 4), but worked well over 1,200 metres and has improved. Ever Success worked in a steady manner over 800 metres (47.6) in his final gallop and looks fit and well. Shanghai King has worked with promise in a series of gallops and remains in tip-top shape.

RACE NINE, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,600 METRES

Miracles moved very well in a turf trial on January 6 and continues to impress in his work all round. Noble Man was highly impressive in winning a barrier trial on January 6 and is back to working in peak order. Bumper Bumper has only cantered since his last run (January 10) but remains fighting fit. Country Boy has been given a patient preparation. His turf trial on January 6 was out of the top drawer.

RACE TEN, RATED 110-90 (C1), 1,600 METRES

Bullish Luck continues to work with plenty of zest and his last couple of turf gallops have been excellent. Tiber has done very well since his last outing (December 14) and put on condition. His turf trial on January 6 was very good work. Winning Kevin displayed marked improvement in his turf trial on January 6 and his work in general has improved. Ain't Here has worked promisingly in a few gallops leading up to this event and will give a good account.
