You get the tickets. We've got the plan.

Want a mind-blowing experience? The answer may lie in the stars - or with the Axes of Evil.

Six sense Some of us may have made resolutions for the New Year, but what do the stars have in store for us? To gain insights into your astrological path, renowned reader of the stars Paul Six offers an evening of astrology to help provide an understanding of your past, present and future.

Tonight at Zama (Kinwick Centre, Room 1006, 32 Hollywood Road), Six will hold an introductory evening to discuss the development of his work, and offer mini-readings. As a bonus, if you provide your date of birth, including the time and place, he will draw you a personalised chart forecasting your future. Six has more than 10,000 readings, 700 astrology workshops and hundreds of astrological reports to his name, and his clients have included everyone from top business executives to newborns.

During the workshop, visitors will be instructed on how to draw their own charts and interpret each component potential, in the hopes of obtaining a greater awareness of their place in the grand scheme of things.

The workshop runs from 7pm to 8.30pm and admission is free, but call in advance (tel: 2850 6400) to book, because space is limited.

Metal carouse If you're looking for a completely different experience, head over to Yumla where a handful of DJs, led by Sean 'The Prawn' Fitzpatrick and Drafus, present 'Axes of Evil' - a night of thundering, metal-infused electro mayhem.

As a celebration of menacing guitar rock, the 'Axes of Evil' DJs promise to mix up a cocktail of pounding electro beats and 'slabs of carnivorous rock with some punk funk for maximum dance floor evil!'

Expect the energy levels to soar within the walls of Yumla's Star Wars-inspired Cantina bar, as the monsters of metal battle the titans of techno. Be warned - this is not for the faint-hearted. But if you like guitar-smashing, ear-pounding, head-rocking beats, then this is the thing for you! The party rages until late, with no cover charge.
