Our new Friday Quiz kicks off today on page 8. The quiz is designed to help keep you on top of world news - from important political events to exciting entertainment news.

All the answers to the quiz can be found on the front page and in the City section of the South China Morning Post. Reading these parts of the paper for just 10 minutes a day will help you get a good score in our quiz.

It is divided into four fun sections. 'In the Picture' gets you to identify people in the news. 'Soundbites' asks you to match quotes to the people who said them. 'The Headline Game' tests your understanding of headlines and stories, and 'Hot News' quizzes you on the week's big events. When you have done the quiz, turn to page 11 for the answers.
