The Equal Opportunities Commission and the Jumbo Kids Theatre are staging a drama performance, 3-D Interactive Machine, from now till March to teach children the importance of accepting people from different family backgrounds.

The performance portrays children and parents being discriminated against by characters such as landlords, employers and headmasters because of their family situations. It will be staged in 22 primary schools to promote diversity and equal opportunities. The stage, decorated to resemble a gigantic machine, will malfunction when discrimination occurs. Actors will then ask pupils to step into the shoes of the landlord, employer and headmaster to react the scenes.
