RACE ONE, RATED 40-15 (C5), 1,650 METRES

Chiu Chow Hero has clearly improved since his run on February 22 and his last couple of gallops over 400 metres were better. Lucky Encounter caught the eye in his final 800 metres (49.1) and looks in good order. World Star showed a little improvement in a recent dirt trial and looks in his best shape this season. Watch King remains fit and well and continues to work well. Super Best is not working as well as earlier in the season.

RACE TWO, RATED 40-15 (C5), 1,000 METRES

Bullish Kid has progressed since competing on February 22 and his final gallop was sterling work. Amity appears in slightly better shape. His turf gallop on Monday over 800 metres (47.2) was nice work. Baby King appears to have strengthened up a fraction and his final 800 metres showed improvement. Mundhish looks fit.

RACE THREE, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,200 METRES

Wiki Wiki displayed above-average ability in his turf trial on January 20 and should prove highly competitive this evening. Capital Gain shaped nicely in his dirt trial at the end of February and looks fit for his season debut. A Plus Fit displayed clear improvement in a turf gallop last week with Mick Kinane on board. He looks fit and can improve. Honourable worked strongly over 800 metres (49.3) in his final gallop and a better performance would not surprise.

RACE FOUR, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,800 METRES

Cherished worked with plenty of enthusiasm in a recent gallop over 1,200 metres timed in 1:18.7. Yellow Dragon worked very well with the blinkers in his final gallop over 400 metres and looks sharp. Sunday Delight looks in tip-top condition and his final 1,200 metres was steady. The Rich Man was working better earlier in the season. Danefactor moved stylishly in a recent trial and can improve. Oriental appears to be holding his condition.

RACE FIVE, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,650 METRES

Asali finished a distant second in a dirt trial last week but has generally worked well since joining Danny Shum Chap-shing. Sheriff Bamboo led all the way in a Happy Valley trial at the end of last month and looks fitter. Danriva looks fitter now and his final 400 metres gallop (25.5) was nice work. Armondo worked in a positive manner on the turf on Monday when clocking 50.4.

RACE SIX, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,800 METRES

Country Boy has trimmed down nicely since his last run on February 11. His work has continued to dazzle and he looks in superb condition. Chater Lane worked in a solid manner over 1,200 metres for Mick Kinane when clocking 1:23.0 seconds. Fantastic Star looks fit and well and his work since winning on February 18 has been faultless. Green Vacation has worked well in a series of gallops and looks fit.

RACE SEVEN, RATED 90-70 (C2), 1,800 METRES

Healthy Wealthy worked superbly over 1,200 metres (1:19.5) in a recent gallop and looks in fantastic condition. Packing Angel often catches the eye in his work and his recent gallops have been no exception. Nasa Pearl worked quite well alongside Country Boy in their final gallop. He remains fit and well. Silent Partner worked home nicely in a trial at Happy Valley on February 21 and looks fit. Always Win has had a light preparation, but looks in good order.
