Douglas Hurd was out of order

I AM outraged by comments by the British Foreign Minister Mr Douglas Hurd, regarding Beijing's suitability in hosting the Olympic Games.

These comments and their timing cannot but prejudice negotiations concerning Hong Kong. Mr Hurd should have realised this.

His comments appear to invite more conflict and possibly incite it.

It may lead many Hong Kong people to believe that the British Kong's future.

I sincerely hope that the Hong Kong Government will divorce itself from Mr Hurd's comments without delay.
