Record-breaking trio

Four students broke records in the Division Two inter-school athletics finals. Lingnan Hang Yee Memorial Secondary School student Lau Tak-lung (right), who smashed the 20-year-old Grade A 1,500m record two weeks ago, this time beat the 800m mark with a time of 1 minute 57.89 seconds.

Leung Ka-hei of Munsang College (centre) timed 14.32 seconds to reset the best in the Grade A 110m hurdles. He also beat the 400m hurdles record in 56.09 seconds. Li Ka-yat (left) from Pui Ching Middle School beat the 100m record with a time of 11.42 seconds.
