Ink Traces: Zen Daruma Paintings


An exhibition of monochromatic paintings from the early 20th century, depicting Daruma, the first Zen Buddhist patriarch. Each brush and ink work illustrates the enlightenment of the Zen master who created it. An installation of 500 bamboo sticks formed into a hut accompanies the exhibition.
