Mum's the word as Roman 'takes over' the Chao empire

MUM and Dad will no doubt have words with him about the correct procedure when posing for the press. But this was Roman's first experience of prying lenses, so he can be excused for shutting his eyes wearily when Cecil and Terri Chao allowed Keeping Postedto have the first peek at their three-month-old bundle of joy.

The nursery at the sprawling Villa Cecil duplex in Pokfulam is now a picture in blue - the workmen building Terri's studio where she plans to do her painting having been hurriedly diverted to complete Roman's cosy place instead.

Ravishing Terri, the lady with the exotic genes, said she had not been out on the social circuit of late as she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her ''cute and gorgeous little boy'' - although she left us wondering whether she meant Roman or Cecil.

Now back to her previous shapely form, the American-Vietnamese beauty told us the weight ''just rolled away'' with hardly any effort.

''My friends were all amazed and some even thought I was employing the services of a private trainer,'' she said.

''But all I did was swim every day and work out at the Jockey Club gym with Cecil. Actually, he was my personal trainer.''
