ENCHANTING EVENINGS

Award-winning pianist Eric Fung King-hei will join the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for two concerts at Sha Tin Town Hall and Tsuen Wan Town Hall auditoriums tomorrow and on Sunday, respectively. The concerts will start at 8pm. Tickets costing $260, $160 and $100, with half-price for students, can be purchased through Urbtix on 2734 9009.

VIDEO SCREENINGS

To tie in with upcoming performances by US-based Merce Cunningham Dance Company on April 23 and 24, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present two free video screenings at the Space Museum tomorrow at 2.15pm.

The first programme, Cage/Cunningham, traces the collaboration between choreographer Merce Cunningham and composer John Cage. Beach Birds for Camera is a 35-millimetre wide-screen film adaptation of a dance performance originally created for the stage.

MEET-THE-ARTISTS

Acclaimed music video directors Wing Shya and Susie Au Suet-yee will share their thoughts at a discussion organised by Videotage. Shya was the photographer for several Wong Kar-wai films, including In the Mood for Love. Au has directed music videos for pop stars such as Faye Wong and Anthony Wong Yiu-ming. The talk will take place at Cattle Depot Artist Village in To Kwa Wan tomorrow at 7pm. Admission is free.
