Sunny delights in food corner

Tucked away in Lan Kwai Fong is one of Hong Kong's best kept secrets. A little corner shop bearing the wooden sign 'Sunny & Barbie' has more to offer than it looks. From the street, you can see the surf boards, the surf posters and even the surf videos on the television.

But what you cannot see is Sunny (right) - tucked away in the kitchen serving an array of food. In addition to western-style sandwiches and wraps with barbecued meat, there's the best-tasting Korean bulgogi rice in the area. It turns out Sunny was former chef at upscale Korean restaurant Paa in Hollywood Road. They even hand out disposable gloves for their grilled pork ribs, in case you did not want to make a huge mess. And the price for a meal is perfect for the Lan Kwai Fong crusader, costing less than a martini.
