Anniversary gala a success
Rosaryhill School celebrated its 45th anniversary last week with a music gala at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Performers were from all four sections of the school: kindergarten, primary, secondary and business studies Parents and alumni also took part in the event.
'We chose Alex Fong Lik-sun to be the guest performer because he is a good role model. Although he is a Canto-pop singer, he studies at university and he is good at PE too,' said a school spokesman.
The gala, which started at 7.30pm, consisted of 14 acts, with everyone taking part in the opening act - a traditional lion dance.
The retro fashion show in which students modelled their self-decorated T-shirts was the highlight of the evening. The gala ended with a singing performance by members of the parent-teacher association.
