A Feast in Two Acts is a stunning mime show performed by the Fringe Mime and Movement Laboratory. The silent drama deals with the themes of 'figure', 'transformation' and 'sensation'.

The show will be staged at Fringe Club's Fringe Studio today and tomorrow at 8.15pm. Tickets at $55 (adults) and $45 (students) can be purchased through HK Ticketing.


Andrea Bocelli, one of the world's greatest tenors, will perform in Hong Kong for the first time at the Convention and Exhibition Centre's Grand Hall today at 8pm.

Bocelli was visually impaired from birth and blinded in a football accident at 12. He originally trained as a lawyer but decided to follow his true calling - singing.

The singer has performed for the Pope and the Queen of England.

In today's concert, Bocelli will perform both opera and pop ballads.

Tickets cost $2,888, $1,888 and $1,088 and are available through HK Ticketing.


Tak Yan School has focused on the arts since it was established in 1952.

In memory of the school's founder, Lim Hoy-lan, an exhibition showcasing works by the school's graduates, students and teachers is being staged.

The display includes western and Chinese paintings, calligraphy, digital designs, sculptures, ceramics, installations and mixed-media works.

The exhibition is on at the Experimental Gallery of Hong Kong Arts Centre until May 14. Free admission from 10am to 6.30pm. For more information, call 2582 0273.
