The grande dames of British fashion and chinaware, Vivienne Westwood and Wedgwood, have joined forces to come up with a tea set. Made of the finest bone china the classic style collection has a contemporary twist. Westwood's trademark motifs, a bejewelled orb and tartan fabric, adorn the cups, saucers, plates and other accessories. The collection is available only in sets ($1,900 for two teacups, saucers and dessert plates; $2,500 for a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl). There are four different limited-edition display plates ($1,200 each), of which only 1,000 pieces are available worldwide and would make suitable gifts for catwalk-conscious homebodies. The display plates and teaware are available from branches of Lane Crawford.
