Mr Holt brings to Navini Networks more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Based in Hong Kong, he will lead the company's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms Nobthai, a corporate and securities lawyer based in Bangkok, focuses on corporate restructurings, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, initital public offerings, and general securities and banking work.
Deputy managing director
Mr Morgan has been executive director in Hong Kong since 2000. His promotion to deputy managing director, a new position in the Hong Kong office, will add further strength to the operation's senior management team. In addition to managing the firm's marketing and brand strategy, he will support the managing director in the day-to-day management of the office. Since joining the Hong Kong office in 2000, Mr Morgan has guided a solid expansion of the firm's client base. He joined Golin/Harris International in Washington in 1994 as vice-president. Before that, he worked for leading entertainment companies in New York City. He has a master's degree in journalism from West Virginia University, and a bachelor of arts degree from Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania.
Business development manager
Zuji Hong Kong
Mr Tan brings more than 12 years of marketing and sales experience in the travel industry to Zuji Hong Kong. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing advertising sales relationships in liaison with Zuji's appointed advertising sales partner in Hong Kong, Pixel Media, and developing co-marketing and partnership promotions. In addition, he will also manage public relations campaigns in the Hong Kong market. Before joining Zuji, Mr Tan served as senior sales manager at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Asia Pacific. Before that, he was based in Hong Kong as business development manager at Hyatt International Hotels & Resorts.
Director of business development - corporate
Mr Shih first started at the Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, then moved to the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong, accumulating more than 10 years of experience in both front office duties and sales. He recently rejoined Island Shangri-La as director of business development (corporate), to explore business opportunities in the corporate segment.
Senior sales manager
Ms Low joined the Shangri-La group in 1990 when she began working for the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. She subsequently moved to the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong in 1992. After a stint with guest relations, she was transferred to corporate sales and is now responsible for developing business in the Singaporean and Malaysian markets.
Chair of international litigation practice
Jones Day is pleased to announce the addition of Mr Thomson, chair of the firm's international litigation practice, to its litigation team in Asia. Mr Thomson will be based in the Hong Kong office but will focus on helping to develop the firm's dispute resolution practice throughout Asia. He will remain co-ordinator of the litigation group in London until the end of this year. Mr Thomson has more than 20 years' experience in large-scale, multi-jurisdictional litigation in a wide variety of areas, and in many jurisdictions in Asia and elsewhere. He practised in Hong Kong before joining Jones Day in 1997.
