AC Milan prove champion party animals

AC Milan's match on Sunday against local side Kitchee, which the Italian champions lost 2-1, must rank as a major upset, but what went wrong? Well, perhaps next time the boisterous Italians should schedule the match earlier in the weekend before all that partying catches up with them. Who could endure a football game suffering a hangover in this heat?

On Friday night the boys were seen at the inconspicuous nightclub Drop, where the venue's manager assured the team that they would be a well-kept secret. 'I told the coach that I am an Aussie, mate,' Steve Cromie says with a grin. 'I have no idea who AC Milan is. And they loved that - they ordered loads of drinks and were able to put their feet up.'

The team got itchy feet and later moved on to Dragon-I, where they sat at the same table as Real Madrid players did last year. For once the boys were not surrounded by security, which meant easy access for the girls, who seemed ready to get their kit off any minute for the Italian stallions.

Saturday night meant no rest for the team as they headed to Staunton Cafe, where they were spotted casually hanging out. 'They were chatting with young bimbo-type girls,' says one witness, who claims she saw AC Milan also being followed by a group of young men with video cameras. No doubt Sunday's match will not make pleasant viewing for the stars.
