Soulful Joss Stone is rumoured to be making a private appearance in Hong Kong in September. The 16-year-old has swept the world with her debut record, The Soul Sessions, where she surprised everyone with a sound that is more like a veritable blues veteran than a blonde, British teenager from Devon, southwest England.

With her yet-to-be-named second CD due out in mid-September, EMI tells CitySeen that she will be stopping in the city for a low-key performance, in which only a select few will hear her voice, which has been described as 'Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Mavis Staples' rolled into one.

Her latest video for her track Super Duper Love is guaranteed to be as hot as she is.
