RACE ONE, RATED 40-0 (C5), 1,650 METRES


Lucky Encounter worked quite well when jumping out of the gates on Monday on the all-weather surface. He was timed at 26.9 seconds for 400 metres in a steady piece of work. Mr President was ridden vigorously to win a trial on May 28. He looks very fit. Maestro worked with promise on the riverside recently when clocking 47.6 for 800 metres in a sound gallop. World Star looks fit and well.


RACE TWO, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,000 METRES


Beauty Plus is showing a little more zest in his work with the blinkers on. He worked very well on the riverside last week for Douglas Whyte when clocking 44.6. Four Aces has settled a fraction better in his work and can improve. Kao And Ming worked strongly on the grass on Monday for Glyn Schofield. He was timed at 46.2 for 800 metres in another sterling piece of work. Dragon Horse worked steadily when jumping out of the gates and he does look in good order.


RACE THREE, RATED 40-15 (C5), 1,200 METRES


Well Express won a trial on June 1 by 41/2 lengths and looks fit and well. Supersonic continues to impress in his work and remains in tip-top shape. Peach Blossom has worked very well since his trial on May 18 and looks fit. Forever Charming has worked in a solid manner in a series of gallops since his run on May 12.


RACE FOUR, RATED 55-35 (C4), 1,800 METRES


Multi Ransom worked particularly well on the turf in a recent gallop for Felix Coetzee, covering 800 metres in 46.0 in arguably his best piece of work to date. We're Buddies showed a little more zest in his final few gallops and looks primed to run very well. Just Too Good worked nicely for Olivier Doleuze in his final preparation. His work has been faultless. Harry Harry showed a little more zest with the visor applied in his work.


RACE FIVE, RATED 75-55 (C3), 1,000 METRES


Elfhelm showed some improvement when finishing second in a dirt trial on June 4. He looks fitter now. Grass Hopper continues to show plenty of dash in general work. Lightning Bolt worked quite well when jumping out of the gates on Monday and clocking 22.2 for 400 metres. Manifest looks to be holding his condition well since his run on May 30.


RACE SIX, RATED 60-40 (C4), 1,000 METRES


Shogun continues to work in an excellent manner, showing out impressively in a series of gallops for new trainer John Size. Great Idea worked with promise on the turf in his final workout and looks fit and well. Choice And Chance looks in superb order and displayed plenty of enthusiasm in his only gallop since his run on May 30. Handbag Fortune is ticking over nicely in his work which has been steady.


RACE SEVEN, RATED 80-60 (C3), 2,200 METRES


Green In Blue looks in magnificent shape and has impressed in a series of sound gallops. Super Combed was given a testing final dash-up by Coetzee, clocking 23.1. He responded well to the rider's urgings and looks very fit. Chinook displayed some improvement in his final gallop, showing a good deal more zest. Prize Winner looks fit and well and his work has been faultless. Strategic Select worked nicely for Howard Cheng Yue-tin on Monday when timed at 1:24.3.


RACE EIGHT, RATED 100-80 (C2), 1,650 METRES


Sambuca looks in fantastic order and worked with plenty of promise in his final gallop over 800 metres (52.9). Nilometer worked strongly in his final workout over 400 metres, timed at 22.2. Fighting Mascot went well in an all-weather trial on May 28. He may have even improved since his run on March 17. Kingston Winner is fitter now and his work has been sound.
