Idol reject back with another classic

Tinnie Chow

American Idol reject William Hung is not showing any signs of letting up.

Despite being criticised for having no talent for singing or dancing, the Hong Kong native is soldiering on, with his second single. (His first single, in case you forgot, was his tone-deaf version of Ricky Martin's She Bangs).

Hung will release the Queen classic We are the Champions, which did not feature on his debut album Inspiration. Not only that, the guy with his own fists of fury is about to release a second album later this year.

The We are the Champions video clip was filmed in Los Angeles last week and features many of Queen's dance moves. Hung went out of his way to be so authentic he apparently dons one of Freddie Mercury's signature jumpsuits. The video will debut in the US on the GSN network this week. And to make matters worse, he will also make a DVD, called Hanging with Hung, due for release on June 29.

Word is that he also is heading to the Lion City this summer to star in his first film.
