Coming in first:

British Airways is offering return first-class tickets to London for the price of business class. Fly from Sunday to Wednesday and you can travel for $50,720, instead of the usual $71,270. You'll fly in your own Kelly Hoppen-designed 'demi-cabin' with a maximum of 14 other passengers, enjoy a five-course meal with champagne, and a 40kg luggage allowance. Contact your travel agent or BA on 2822 9000.

A stamp on matters:

To celebrate its reopening in Central's Hutchison House (a space previously occupied by Caledonia), Madison's is giving away a trip to New York that includes two business class tickets on Cathay Pacific, and two nights' accommodation at The Stanhope Park Hyatt NYC (www.stanhopepark.hyatt.com). Until July 31, diners will receive a lucky draw entry card on which to collect four stamps, each stamp being awarded for every $250 spent. Collect all four stamps in a single visit and you'll also earn 1,000 bonus Asia Miles (G/F Hutchison House, 10 Harcourt Road, Central, tel: 2523 4772).

Room for manoeuvre:

Getting grief for excessive TV-watching during Euro 2004? Pre-empt a major domestic row by checking into the five-star Harbour Plaza in Hunghom, which is offering rooms from $938 (maximum two people overnight). The offer is valid until July 6 and includes a 'snack pack' comprising onion rings, spring rolls, chicken wings, crisps, nuts and the all-important 10 cans of beer. A supplement of $150 will be charged on Fridays and Saturdays. Call 2996 8006 for details or go to www.harbour-plaza.com/hphk.

Spanning the Gulf:

Gulf Air has joined Asia Miles, bringing its total of partner airlines to 18. This adds destinations such as Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Casablanca and Teheran to those on which you can earn and redeem Asia Miles (www.asiamiles.com).

On the right track:
