Five contenders for top award

Five students will be competing for the SCMP Student of the Year Award at the final adjudication this Saturday at Wei Hing Theatre, City University of Hong Kong.

The selected finalists are: Ho Yiu-jo of St Paul's Co-educational College; Hugh Alexander Kam of German Swiss International School; Elsa Sze of St Mary's Canossian College; Wu Wai-ling of Sha Tin Government Secondary School; and Pauline Yeung of Diocesan Girls' School.

Professor Arthur Li Kwok-cheung, Secretary for Education and Manpower, will lead the panel of judges, which also includes Nebashi Fusaji, managing director of Muji Hong Kong, and David Armstrong, SCMP editor-in-chief.
